It really depends on the type of light you are buying and if it has a balanced spectrum.
3000k vs 3500k light. Above 5000K color temperature. - Either 3000k or 3500k. The highest regular light bulbs and luminare colors we offer is 5700K anything over that is too harsh.
3000k vs 3500k This is the topic that has me stuck between QB and CMH. Bright lighting can make peoples attention and work more positive. Currently prepared to purchase this QB with 660nm red built in.
Id still like to see a side by side comparison between a 6500k2700k vegfower grow to a straight 3000k or 3500k start finish grow. You can choose either to complement wood furniture and earthy tones. The difference between 2700 and 3000 is pretty small but you dont need to standardize either.
When the color temperature is 5000K or higher the light produced appears bluish white. In these areas there are more visual tasks. It has less of a yelloworange hue and will appear crisper for that reason.
Since I plan on getting two sets of lights one for veg one for flower Im going to do different color spectrums and may be journal it when it gets going. 3000K is where the color of the light starts to give off a softer-white glow. 2700k 3000k 3500k and 4000k.
Warm White is around 3000k whereas Cool White is around 5000k. My rule of thumb is to go with 3000k in active areas like kitchen living room hallways etc and 2700k in relaxed areas like bedroom and dining room. 3000K light is a slightly more pure neutral white color compared to 2700K.
