When it comes to LED light bulbs there are three common ranges.
3500k light colour. The three primary types of light bulb color temperature are. 2700K-3500K - Warm Light. 3500K-4500K - Neutral White Light.
Start from 4100K to around 5000k on the color temperature chart and represent less blue white light. The higher the Degrees Kelvin the whiter the color temperature. An LED with a Temperature of 2700K produces a very warm almost golden white light while 7000K is a very cool white that can in some applications appear to have a light blue glow.
4100K Cool white gives a whiter light. The light is saturated in red and orange wavelengths bringing out warmer object colors such as red and orange more richly. Natural White Light is in the 3500K to 4500K range.
Soft White 2700K 3000K Bright WhiteCool White 3500K 4100K and Daylight 5000K 6500K. This light colour range gives a distinct warm glow that reminiscent of the sunset or a flame - it is more used at home and in relaxed commercial settings. Most commercial pendant lights and troffer fixtures are available in 3500K or 4000K light natural white light bulb as the best color temperature for office light.
The white was a neutral colour having a CCT of around 4000K. The theory of circadian lighting informs us that the brain is most alert in the middle of the day when light levels move into the pure white areas of the spectrum. When I was a kid we used incandescent lights in my house so lights around 3500K 4000K normal.
Incandescent lights are perfect for warm paint colors. In general a color temperature between 4000-5000 Kelvin is ideal depending on your personal tastes. CFLs or LEDs in this range are best to.
