Cool white light bulbs are usually around 6000K.
Cool white vs natural white led. As their name implies natural LED lights produce a bright white luminosity thats closest to the natural light given off by the sun. If you want a modern clean look you may prefer the cleaner brighter feel of a cool white lamp 4000K. Fluorescent light bulbs and tubes are the sources of light that can harm your eyes and should be avoided as much as possible.
So how do you know if the LED light you want to purchase has a cool tone to it. Warm Light is relaxing which helps people to calm down and prepare for sleep. As other posters have mentioned colors are a lot more accurate using the neutral white emitter rather than cool white.
Natural White This colour temperature has a clean white light free from any yellow or blue tints. We have chosen 4000K for our Natural White LEDs as we find it to be the most neutral temperature available. Like 4000k color temperature light Cold White.
Warm White offers between 2700-3200 Kelvins Daylight sits between 4000-4500 while Cool White consists of 5000-6200 Kelvins. The most popular colors available for LED are Warm White Neutral and Cool White. The higher the Kelvin value the whiter the light.
LED colour temperature is measured using the Kelvin scale represented by numbers followed by a K. Daylight ranges from Blue-White 5000K to Bright Blue 6500K. Cool white light contains more blue light and looks brighter to the eye this is why cool white bulbs have a higher lumen output when compared to the equivalent warm white bulb.
This is more a neutral white light range which gives a balance between warm and soft color light. The difference is subtle but Ill outline some. Natural white is a little cleaner in appearance with just a hint of warmth.
