Daylight vs cool white light bulbs. Is cool white natural light. Cool white bulbs are known to help with concentration in classrooms and productivity at the work place. Besides using terms like warm white cool white and daylight to describe these colourr temperatures we also rate these in kelvin which is a temperature scale.
There are differences between cool white and daylight. There is a middle ground known as the cool white with a color temperature between 3000K and 5000k. The light appears as a bright neutral white that shades into blue at the upper end of this range.
Daylight bulbs label. Cool white bulbs that provide light between 3700K and 5000K have a slightly blue feel to them and are considered to be. However its important to remember that kelvins is the most accurate measure of the colour temperature.
Daylight is between Blue- White and Bright Blue. Daylight White Light 5000K to 6500K is a very cool white containing a very blue tone. A daylight bulb offers excellent colour contrast while a soft white bulb helps to balance colours in a setting.
This is the lower end of the spectrum. It emits a soft soothing and relaxing light which is great for ambience. Daylight bulbs have color temperatures that begin at 4600K and can range up 6500K or higher.
