The color of daylight is similar to the intensity of the light emitted by fluorescent lamps which are identical in color to incandescent bulbs.
Daylight vs soft white led. The higher the Kelvin value the whiter the light. Remember that the more kelvins a light has the more the depth of whiteness. In fact these LED lights are mean to mimic the outdoor light in you see on a bright sunny day.
Soft White on the other hand produces a very soft and warm light yellow tone which creates a very smooth and relaxing feeling. Warm light is not as dazzling as daylight similar to the glow of the sun but the LED light of the same power is brighter than the warm light. Daylight creates a natural effect because of its greater color contrast whereas Soft White because of its lower color intensity makes light feel warm producing a more relaxing.
LED Soft White vs Warm White. Daylight bulbs produce a high color temperature in the 5000K to 6500K range whereas soft white light produces yellow and low color temperature in the range of 2700K to 3000K range. Daylight 5000 to 6500 Kelvin has a more bluish toneThis light color will maximize contrast for colors making it ideal for working reading or applying makeup.
Daylight white LEDs are priced between 50 and 100 percent more than standard soft white LEDs. Daylight bulbs will be very blue while soft white bulbs will be yellowish. Soft white LED bulbs produce a lower color temperature in the range of 2700K to 3000K.
This is the lower end of the spectrum. Soft white bulbs replicate a yellowish white light that the regular incandescent bulbs give off. The first thing that you will notice is the color of the light.
These two are at different extremes of color temperature possible with bulbs. The former is somewhat unimposing and calm but the latter is a bit more intense like the light of day or just like opening the curtains to let in light to wake someone up. Daylight creates a characteristic impact because of its greater color contrast.
