Lighting of the Lawn was founded in the wake of the September 11th attacks to foster unity and inclusion in the UVA and Charlottesville communities and this original mission rings true today in LOTLs twentieth year. Lights on the Lawn is dedicated providing students with rich learning opportunities while making deep impacts on local communities. To this accord we work closely with our student leaders universities and our local charlies ensuring seamless and successful shows.
