I made a tiny x in pencil on areas I wanted to keep white painting around them.
Mixing warm and cool lights. Clear warm lights are best and create a more pleasing feel. Rubbed oil bronze reads pretty neutral to me. Some colors are perceived as warm and others as cool.
Next I need to neutralize the color slightly. As you can see in the photo below the 3000k often called warm white has a yellow tinge the 6000k often called day light has almost a blue colour to it and the cool white 4000k is a mix of the both with a neutral tone to it. For example gold finishes used in frames hardware lighting etc.
Use a blue LED with a phosphor coating. Warm colors include yellow and red while blue is a cool color. Mixing Colors Warm and Cool Shades.
Allow some time to get used to any change especially if changing from warm to cool white. Think of a violin. It is also possible to mix these characteristics for example to create a warm sky blue.
Remember I want more yellow than red. These bulbs are best suited for kitchens. Including warm and cool versions of the local color of flesh helps it appear natural and convincing.
Warm lights have lower color temperatures and therefore appear more yellow while cool lights have higher color temperatures and appear whiter or bluer. To mix this color I start with a warm yellow New Gamboge and I mix in a small amount of warm red Pyrrol Scarlet. If you mix two warm colors together the result is also a warm color.
