The most popular colors available for LED are Warm White Neutral and Cool White.
Natural white vs cool white led. You can use them as task lights since its bright and easy on the eyes. Things may not look as dazzling compared to cool white but they definitely look a lot more realistic and its a lot easier to see fine detail in something lit with a neutral light as opposed to a cool white one - especially when spotting things at a distance. Cool white seems brighter than the normal white and sometimes looks bluish.
A Warm White Integral LED lamp will provide a traditional yellowish colour light similar to conventional bulbs. For example warm white LEDs are 2700K to 3200K daylight is between 4000K to 4500K and cool white is between 5000K to 6200K. Warm white is designed to have a similar glow as incandescent bulbs.
These are three most common shades of white lights. SOFT WHITE Bulbs that provide light at around 3000K to 3500K may be considered white or soft white COOL WHITE Bulbs that provide light at around 4100K to 5000K are considered cool white and these start to have a slightly blue feel to them. The majority of Philips LED lighting products provides 2700 Kelvin which is warm white light.
We have chosen 4000K for our Natural White LEDs as we find it to be the most neutral temperature available. Warm White is around 2700K to 3500K Natural White is around 4000K to 4500K Cool White is around 5000K to 6500K. Cool White is for anyone who wants to make things pop.
Warm white has a yellow or brownish tint. As you can see in the photo below the 3000k often called warm white has a yellow tinge the 6000k often called day light has almost a blue colour to it and the cool white 4000k is a mix of the both with a neutral tone to it. Pure White is a plain white without any warmth.
Whether its for LED Strips or LED bulbs we have three types of whites available. LED colour temperature is measured using the Kelvin scale represented by numbers followed by a K. Cool white which has a blueish tint.
